Anden erfaring

Thomas Samsø Bloch er mediator, forhandlings- og mediationsrådgiver og advokat med base i Hovedstadsområdet.

Han har stor erfaring i konstruktiv konfliktløsning og interessebaserede forhandlinger og har praktiseret som mediator siden 2008. Han har medieret civile- og kommercielle sager, byggesager, familie- og ansættelsessager og deltaget ved adskillige mediationer og retsmæglinger som partsadvokat. Som advokat har Thomas primært beskæftiget sig med erhvervsrådgivning, køb og salg af fast ejendom og entrepriseret og har rådgivet og bistået såvel bygherrer som entreprenører og byggerådgivere i byggerelaterede tvister. 

Thomas er tillige tilknyttet som mediator ved Voldgiftsnævnet for Byggeri og Anlæg og som retsmægler ved Østre Landsretskreds og Helsingør ret. Derudover er han tillige mediator ved the Global Mediator Panel under FN’s ombudsmandskontor for UN funds and programs (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and UN-Women.)

Thomas var tidligere direktør for Mediationsinstituttet, hvor han har arbejdet for at fremme- og øge kendskabet til mediation i Danmark. Derudover underviser han i mediation og forhandling og er medforfatter til bogen og podcastserien “Løsningens labyrint – advokaters oplevelser med mediation”, som giver et indblik i brugen af ​​kommerciel mediation i juridiske tvister i Danmark. Thomas desuden medlem af Danske Advokaters repræsentantskab og brancheudviklingsudvalg.

Thomas var tidligere formand for- og nuværende bestyrelsesmedlem af Danske Mediatoradvokater. Han har derudover været næstformand i Mediationsinstituttet samt formand for advokatforeningen i Helsingørs retskreds.

Thomas er uddannet jurist ved Københavns Universitet (1999). Han er desuden uddannet indenfor tværfaglig kommunikation og har deltaget i adskillige indenlandske og internationale mediations- og forhandlingskurser. Thomas taler dansk, engelsk, svensk, norsk og fransk og tilbyder mediation på dansk og engelsk.

Thomas Samsø Bloch is a mediator, negotiation- and mediation advicer and attorney-at-law based in the Greater Copenhagen area.

He has extensive experience in constructive conflict resolution and interest-based negotiations and has practiced as a mediator since 2008.

He has mediated civil and commercial cases, construction cases, family- and employment cases and have represented clients in several mediations and court mediations. As an attorney, he has primarily adviced on commercial matters, real estate and construction. In construction related disputes he has advised and assisted both developers, contractors and consultants.

Thomas is also a mediator at the The Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and a court mediator at Eastern High Court and the court of Elsinore. In addition, he is also a mediator at the Global Mediator Panel under the auspices of the UN Ombudsman for UN Funds and Programs (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and UN-Women.)

Thomas was previously the CEO of the Danish Mediation Institute where he worked to promote and increase the knowledge of mediation in Denmark. In addition, he teaches mediation and negotiation and is a co-author of the book and podcast series “The Labyrinth of Solution – Lawyers’ Experiences with Mediation“, which provides an insight into the use of commercial mediation in legal disputes in Denmark. Thomas is also a member of the Association of Danish Law Firms’ Board of Representatives and Industry Development Committee

Thomas is a board member of the Danish Mediatorlawyers (previously chairman), and previously deputy chairman of the Danish Mediation Institute and chairman of the Lawyers  Association in the Court District of Elsinore.

Thomas has a law degree from the University of Copenhagen (1999). He is also trained in interdisciplinary communication and has participated in several domestic and international mediation and negotiation courses. Thomas speaks Danish, English, Swedish, Norwegian and French and offers mediation in Danish and English.

Thomas offers both regular and online mediation as well as international mediation and co-mediation.
